This Privacy Policy explains how Clockfreight LLC, doing business as Bulltrans (“Bulltrans,” “we,” “us”), USDOT 3220393, MC-1007726, collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit bulltrans.net, contact us, or apply to drive with us.
Information we collect
When you contact us
If you use our contact form, call us or email us, we collect the information you give us, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and the details of your message or shipment.
When you apply to drive with us
Our online Quick Driver Application asks for your name, phone number, email address, the position you are applying for, your CDL class, years of experience, endorsements, city and state, whether you are authorized to work in the United States, and any comments. You may also choose to upload your CDL, motor vehicle record (MVR) and medical card.
If we move forward with your application, federal regulations (49 CFR Part 391) require us to collect a full driver employment application and related records. This may include your date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license details, address and employment history for the past three years (ten years for commercial driving positions), accident and traffic violation history, motor vehicle records, medical certification, safety performance history from previous employers, and drug and alcohol testing information, including queries to the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. We collect this information directly from you and from the sources the regulations require, and only with your authorization where the law requires it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server and security software record technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. We use this to keep the website secure and working properly. Our security plugin may set a cookie to help detect malicious traffic.
Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When that map loads, Google may collect information about your visit under the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies to build marketing profiles about you.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions, provide freight quotes and deliver our transportation services.
- To review driver and owner-operator applications and contact you about them.
- To meet our obligations as a motor carrier under federal and state law, including driver qualification, safety, and drug and alcohol testing rules.
- To pay drivers and owner-operators and to keep business, tax and safety records.
- To protect our website, our company and our customers from fraud and security threats.
Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry, shipment or application. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, email provider, and background check, MVR, drug testing and payroll providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Previous employers and government agencies as required for driver safety performance history checks, the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, and other legal requirements.
- Customers and brokers, limited to what is needed to arrange and complete a shipment (for example, a driver’s name and phone number for a pickup).
- Legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Bulltrans, our drivers or others.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to respond and for our business records. Applications from drivers we do not hire are kept for up to three years and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Driver qualification files and drug and alcohol testing records are kept for the periods required by federal regulations (for example, three years after employment ends for driver qualification files).
How we protect information
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We limit access to personal information to people who need it for their work, and we use security software to protect our website. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send your Social Security number through our website contact form or by regular email.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Some records must be kept by law (such as driver qualification and drug and alcohol testing records), and we may not be able to delete those until the required period ends. Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information; we do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
